45th Annual Clearwater For Youth Celebrity Banquet presented by Clearwater Gas System, will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, Clearwater Beach, Florida. $1,500 table sponsorship, $200 individual tickets.

This elegant celebrity sports banquet is supported by our local professional sports teams including the Phillies, Rays, Blue Jays, Bucs and Lightning and loyal CFY benefactors. Having entered its 45th year on February 24th, 2018, the banquet features the Champion For Youth Award, Humanitarian Award and Outstanding Achievement in Sports Award, along with a Live and Silent Auction and College Scholarship presentations to deserving graduating high school seniors. In 2018, the banquet raised a record breaking over $100,000 for grants, youth sports programs, and registration scholarships in addition to $80,000 in college scholarships awarded to outstanding student athletes. Keith Thurman, the Unified Welterweight World Champion, received the prestigious Champion For Youth Award; John and Wendy Thomas were presented the Humanitarian Award; and Steve Spurrier, our first Champion For Youth Award recipient in 1986 and former college and NFL football player and coach, was presented the Outstanding Achievement in Sports Award.

Art Capogna Memorial Golf Classic Scramble presented by Capogna’s Dugout, Sunday, October 8, 2017, Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club, Clearwater.

$500 team/hole sponsor, $400 per foursome, $200 hole sponsorship.

In its 35th year, the Annual Art Capogna Memorial Golf Classic honors the memory of Capogna Dugout Restaurant founder and local youth sports supporter, Mr. Art Capogna. Capogna’s Dugout has touched the lives of countless individuals over the years and the golf event proceeds continue to support the Art Capogna $5,000 College Scholarship (presented annually at the Celebrity Banquet) along with CFY youth sports grants for participant scholarships, equipment, uniforms, travel, and more. The event has raised over $300,000 in its storied history for the youth of our community. Sponsors include: DITEK, Bob & Joanne McIntyre and Chili’s, Mike DeMaio.

On October 8th during our 35th Annual Art Capogna Memorial Golf Classic Scramble,two teams tied for first place with a score of 55 in a match of cards. The Palm Pavilion team featuring Hoyt Hamilton, Drew Hamilton, Andy Nall, and Aaron Zander took first and the Paradise Golf team featuring Larry Mayol, Hank Webb, Gregg Gagliardi, and Casey Kotchman took second.


VIP Pre-Race Party and Packet Pick-up presented by Clearwater Gas System, Thursday, November 8th, 2017 5:00 – 9:00 PM, at Marina Cantina

$20 per ticket includes buffet, drink, and parking. Hosted annually by Frank Chivas (Baystar Restaurant Group).

On November 8th, 2018, runners can experience a one of a kind pre-race party at Baystar’s newest restaurant, Marina Cantina on Clearwater Beach. Sponsored by Clearwater Gas System, they can enjoy a private party celebrating The 3 Bridge Race featuring live music on the 3rd floor overlooking the beautiful Clearwater Beach Marina. Their ticket included a buffet meal, one complimentary drink, complimentary valet parking hosted by the Marina Cantina! The Phil Doganiero Memorial 3 Bridges Half Marathon, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Walk, Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at Coachman Park, Clearwater, Florida.
